Memos ride a base URL
An API-routed client is governed without a plugin. Point its base URL at the organization gateway and the organization's in-force memos are added to each request ahead of the call to the model vendor, with the vendor's response streamed back untouched and neither body stored. The client keeps its own provider key, and a command-line tool that cannot take a base URL can point its hook at the same gateway. Two response headers state how many memos travelled and whether policy was read, and an organization that requires policy has the request refused rather than forwarded bare. A sensor for the chat window, named as a sensor
A browser window is a model surface with no hook and no base URL. The first-party extension for the chat services it names inserts the memo into the composer and reports which of those surfaces it ran on, with the host reduced to a keyed digest rather than the hostname itself. Where it is not installed, that traffic is unobserved, and nothing here counts it as covered. It is an extension that does one thing, described as an extension.

Twelve dollars a person, flat
Every edition prices at twelve dollars a person a month: self-serve, enterprise and self-hosted, with no minimum order, no volume step, no floor and no setup fee. A pilot runs ninety days at the same rate and converts to the annual invoice on day ninety-one. The per-person ladder this replaces is retired, and the entries it appeared in below are marked superseded.

Self-hosted boot contract, published
A self-hosted install states what it needs before it starts. A missing database connection string stops the process with exit code 2. A portal base URL that is unset, or points at a non-https host, stops it with exit code 4 (a development boot, or an explicit loopback base, is the only exception), so an install cannot come up looking healthy while its mailed links are dead and its session cookie is replayable. The signed licence file is named by AIRMEMO_LICENSE_FILE, defaulting to the install path in the image, and AIRMEMO_TENANCY=single holds the install to one organization. Single sign-on domains claimed with proof
An organization proves ownership of its email domain by publishing a DNS TXT record before single sign-on routes with it.
