# AirMemo

> AirMemo is governed org memory for AI coding agents: an organization's in-force decisions and scoped context, served to agents with provenance and approval control.

AirMemo hosts an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server so an agent can search an
organization's in-force context, read decisions and memos, and propose new
context into an owner-approved review flow. Every read is scoped to the org that
owns the token; every write is approval-gated.

- MCP endpoint: https://api.airmemo.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP)
- Auth: `Authorization: Bearer <org api token>`. Reads require scope `memos:read`; `propose_context` additionally requires `memos:create`.
- Install is human-approved and token-authenticated. Mint a token in the portal, add the server to your client, and approve the device in the portal. AirMemo never writes a client's MCP config without a click.

- search_context(query, scope?): ranked search over in-force org context
- get_decisions(scope?, since?): the org's in-force decision set (degrades to memos)
- get_memo(memo_id): one memo's body, signature, and device delivery chain
- whoami(): org id, granted scopes, token name and expiry
- propose_context(title, body, scope, ...): draft a memo into the approval flow (never a silent write)
